My truck is having trouble with
high rpm. If I push the gas pedal
slow it runs fine. If I push pedal to
hard or fast the rooms jump up
very high and stay high won't even
let trans shift. Have to let cool
down than runs fine again please
help

Thank you I checked and rechecked the cables. Checked for vacuum leaks. Replaced tps . wondering if the one I got from advance auto is bad. If I unplug it while it's run high.it does pull Rpm back down?
