You may have a rod knock from running the engine low on oil or the engine may have seized up. I think it is time for a new engine. Bummer.

Check your dip stick to see if you have water in the oil you may have a cracked block

Engine has seized if you can not turn crank, more than likely warped crank and or head and valves from low oil.

Try or check into the air conditioning pump. One time my car stopped just like that, I sold it for 150.00 and the person went out to "his" new car and cut the air cond. belt and drive it home.

I agree with the first answer, sounds like main bearing went and threw a rod.
