i have a 1996 f150 with 5.0 it will not stay running i have done replaced coil,ignition
module,rotor button,an distributer cap.It will try to crank if i hold gas to floor an try
ignition.it did run for a few minutes but was very rough,then i noticed it was smoking from
underneath an looked an catylic converter was red as stove eye

pull vacuam line of fuel pressure regulator and see if there is fuel in vac line,if so the reg is leaking fuel into crankcase,keep us posted,hope this helps
