i have a 1996 f150 ford truck with a 300 6 cylinder that has a  bad motor  my question is will a 300 6 cylinder out of a 1990 f150 ford truck work in my 1996 and if so what changes will i need to make

Dear bobbyusmile-- According to my own personal guru, Tom Fahy of the Newton Street Garage in Brighton, Ma., you can swap engines as long as the motor mounts and the transmission line up. Of course you will need to customize wiring and controls and for that you would have to have some mechanical talent. Have fun with your 1996 Ford F150. Good luck from Bovan.
