well, to be honest with you, if it was running just fine for 90, you probably didn't need to
replace the plugs/wires. Running the motor was already established. I have this same
exact pick up truck and the fuel pump would be the last thing I would check on ( because
when you hear it hum at the turn of the key, it is getting juice but it doesn't take 12 volts to
run). I would focus more on the fuel pump relay if it starts and runs fine but dies out. you
will see 6 of them in the panel, only 5 are plugged in and you have a spare. I would get a
cigar cleaner from a smoke shop and clean out my MAF sensor to keep that part clean. If
the computer cannot read air properly, how does the computer know what to tell the gas
pump how much gas to bring to the motor for proper 14:7:1 combustion?? I got rid of my
oil based air filter and switch to STP fiber. never looked back. good luck
