f-150 1995 just stopped running while driving

Question type: General

driving on i-275 70 mph acted like the cruse control was trying to kick in kept
getting worse as i drove so i got off interstate-i even tried switching gas tanks
back & forth still din't seem to be fuel-then i got off interstate to find a safe
spot to check it and it died on me while driving then wouldn't start after that.
had to be towed home

Start by checking fuel pressure and spark at the plugs

Your alternator could have gone out and the vehicle was getting power from the battery only. ONce the battery died, so does the engine. Check the battery.
