I have a 95 f150,300,5speed, bw1356 tranfer case it binds when I put it in 4wd just n like it does if you turn the wheels to far acts identicle when it binds. Otherwise It runs fine in 2wd put over 1000 miles on just fine I can probably fix it my self .I have been a mechanic for years If all it needs is 1 part I don't want to buy a rebuild kit or even a case The truck was very well maintained unlike most junk you work on

This sounds like bad u-joints, like in the front driveshaft, or in the front axle shafts. Check out all the u-joints.
