Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1995 Ford F-150 has the 300 l6, I
noticed their are two wires coming
from the cigarette tray in the cab!?
Does anyone know what these wires
might be fore or go to? Maybe an old
school hookup or something that
guys did often?

Are you saying there are two wires just coming out of the ashtray? In addition to the positive and ground into the cigarette lighter?

Iv got them as well its a weith thing bc the light works and the lighter, but the clip is broke so i i unhooked it all so it wouldn't get ripped off when the tray slides out of its place. I noticed another random one as well. Idk what it could be for honstly but im glad to know other xlt’s have them too. mines having a ridiculous problem of a demonic nature randomly. I was really hoping it was one of those wires grounding out somewhere once i remembered them. Cant find it now but i swear i had seen an uncoated wire in there once.
