1995 F-150 no spark good crank.
Replaced all parts supporting ignition. Coil, distributor, plugs, plug wires,
ignition module, and ECM, battery, starter. Could it be bad resistor related
to fuse box under hood on left fender? Parts replacement was completed
after checks of old part. Found bad coil and suspected PIP sensor within
distributor. Replaced ignition switch started once, then quit. This devil
infested unit sat for a week and then started again drove 5 miles getting
back home shut off. Next time (three days later) cranked, but no spark.
Started once more and then failed and spark was gone to never returned
so far even after all new parts had been installed. Fuel pump is good but
has nothing to do with spark or timing until truck runs, then fuel supply
controls timing, this from some reading I have done. Any assistance
anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I almost
forgot this is on a 4.9L inline six cylinder motor. No pictures I'm afraid this
thing will infect my camera!
