Why 94 f150 runs better with tps unplugged and removed

Asked by Jun 30, 2017 at 08:17 PM about the 1994 Ford F-150 XLT 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why does my 94 f150 run better with the throttle
positions sensor unplugged and removed? When
it's hooked up it acts like it's skipping at idle and
when I'm driving down the road but if I mash on
throttle it clears out and runs fine. Any help would
be preciated. Thanks
