linkage broke?

i still can shift into 1st 2nd 5th and reverse. is there a way to check my linkage to see if its broken?

I think it's actually a fairly hard thing to diagnose unless you know what you are looking for. I would recommend taking the truck to an Aamco. If I'm not mistaken they will do a free diagnostic check for you.
