1994 ford f150xlt won't start when I turn the key all I get is a click

so when I turn the key it only clicks it isn't even
cranking over for the starter to start.

sounds like bad battery unless you changed it and didn't post it in your description.

Sounds like a dead battery. Are your headlights dim or not on at all? Check your battery connections for corrosion and make sure they aren't loose. If that doesn't work test the battery with a voltage tester. It should read more than 12 volts if it's fully charged.

not sure if it's the battery. I had it hooked up to another truck with jumper cables it showed plenty of charge amps and still just clicks doesn't crank at all. changed the starter and the starter solenoid. I can hear the fuel pump come on. so I'm stumped not sure what it is.
