stutter and loss of power

ford f150 1993 5.0 motor , starts and runs perfectly cold,  until about a mile and  half it start to miss and backfire through intake system. loses all power and I have to hold it to the floor just to make it through a red light , wich all it does is pop and spit . ive  replaced timing chain, top intake gasket , all vacuum lines cleaned egr and ide control valve and throttle body. cap is 3 weeks old . cleaned 02 sensor , no cats on truck and replaced ignition control modue . truck still does the same thing after about a mile an a half, even tried the heet in both tanks but no improvement. can somebody give me any ideas as to what to try next , also ceaned battery posts so I am at a loss ....help

Did you replace the fuel filter ? and check the air filter.

take out the o2 sensor on the drivers side exhaust manifold and drive the thing. not for long, as that hot exhaust could start burning stuff. It won't hurt anything. If it runs better, you have a clogged cat. you will know when you start it, but still drive it up n down the block at least....

My 1993 f150 xlt 4x4 acted the same. As if it was out of time. I replaced the distributor and It fixed that problem. But now it just has no acceleration. Have changed every sensor and filter I can find and still no power. It kicks in the passing gear just to go up a small hill. Any suggestions??
