i have a 93 f-150 5.0. the AOD trans is bad, but i have an AODE already. the truck is also carborated, what would i have to have to use the AODE?
The "e" in aode means it's electronically contolled. You would need a stand alone controller to control it.
how much would that run me? would I be able to get one at a parts store like autozone or would I have to order one online?
Jegs has one that might work for $625.
Jegs has one specifically for the AODE for $800. http://www.jegs.com/i/Performance- Automatic/732/PA99102/10002/-1?
