93 Ford F-150 overheating problem

My 93 f150 is over heating and the radiator and rad hoses
are getting over pressurized, I’m not sure what the
problem is. I replaced the thermostat and it didn’t fix it so I
though maybe the cap wasn’t allowing coolant to flow into
the coolant overflow. But after about 20 miles it started
overheating again. Right before this the upper rad hose
exploded out of nowhere. As of right now it is leaking
coolant out. I’m not sure what this could be. I’m planning
on cleaning the whole system out and the hose that goes
to the reservoir. If you have any ideas please tell me.

Your radiator could be plugged up, the vehicle is age 25. Also, check the condition of the fan clutch. You can read on the net how to check it. Once the engine coolant temp reaches the boiling point, steam pressure builds up and something has got to blow. Question: At operating temp, with radiator cap removed, can you see the coolant circulating? You can also have a failing or failed water pump. they don't always leak when they fail.
