Not building up pressure. Bad pump, bad fuel pressure regulator or restriction on fuel line

Reading up on some threads, fuel pump should not run continuously, if it does and relay is ok and wires are not shorted, you have a bad computer

Irodri911, shouldn't the fuel pressure be checked first? The guy didn't say he was having any problems but if the pump pressure is on the low side or under, think it may be possible that the pump does not build up enough pressure to turn off?

30 to 45 lbs is what the fuel pressure should fall into. I would say to start investigating by checking the fuel pressure and go from there.
