There are endless high performance parts available for the Ford 302. Your only limitation is your bank account and your states smog laws. Headers, special heads, cams, intake manifolds are just the beginning. Most anything that worked on the old 5.0 mustangs will work on your truck.

I should've elaborated im not quite looking to unload my account yet. start off with the simple mods to do with out pulling motor and all. then ill work up

Intake and exhaust are the only mods you can do without tearing down the engine. If you can go with after market heads like Edlebrock you can get a good bit of power but you would need to install a cam to get their full potential. Try smog legal headers and maybe an intake manifold and carb. Check out this budget build --- - http://www.hotrod.com/articles/ford-302-v8-engine-buildup/
