91 f150 4.9 engine will crank if primed thru breather and crank after unless it sits for hr or so then gotta be reprimed to crank....any ideas as to why?

fuel pump works fine   pressure test is ok  just won't crank after sitting for hr or so   once primed it cranks fine til next time it sits

When you say "crank" you mean it will not start, but will turn over, right?

it will turn over it cranks and runs great after priming and keeps cranking unless it sits for period of time
