Does anyone know the range of interval times for the delay/pulse wipers on a 1990 Ford F150.  Bought a new module and the minimum speed is 12 seconds which seems too long and the maximum interval is 18 seconds.  Help?

I just installed a new pulse wiper module that is working correctly, unlike the previous one, and the intervals are as follows: Minimum interval approximately 2 seconds. Maximum interval approximately 18 - 20 seconds.
