I have a 97 f350 with a 7.3 powerstroke and it blows smoke at about 3000 rpm and up but how do i get it to do it around 2000 or lower with out completely desroying fuel milage i heard it can be done

Tom , Yah Black smoke is power, what mods do U have done and If you have a chip what kind,

if its blak smoke its fine its just burnin tha gas but tha reason its doin it is cuz tha fuel is turned up and if u try to mak it blow at 2000 its gonna kill ur mileage so id say dont do it

4 in. turbo back exhaust, and 50 horse injectors. no chip yet waitin till after i get the intake but i was lookin at the bully dog forget wich one though

unfortunatly auto looked high and low but couldn'ty find a stick in good shape

Your black smoke basically is unburned fuel, if you want your mileage to stay up then don't mess with it.
