do brake bleeder repair kits work?

I have a ford f250 1994 vintage and the bleeder screws for the front calipers are broken off. I can buy repair kits that are supposed to work by drilling out the hole, tapping new threads and installing a fitting that houses a new bleeder screw. Has anyone ever done this successfully?

if you can't unscrew the old broken Zerks, (they might be corroded in there) then the only alternative is to try re-threading the holes- myself, I would just buy new calipers because it would take less time and the truck probably needs them anyway-

I would not re-thread the holes but try and back the bleeders out using an easy-out. Soak the threads with penetrating oil over night first. If that does not work then get new calipers. If you drill and re- thread the holes you probably will not get a good seal and they will leak.
