My 2003 Sports Trac driver seat seems to be tilted back so the front edge of the seat is higher than rear of the seat. It is a manual seat.

Asked by Marsha Apr 24, 2013 at 07:19 PM about the 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT 4WD Crew Cab

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The seat itself seems to be tilted so the front edge is higher than the back edge. It is a manual seat, only has the lever to tilt the back back. No other levers. How do I adjust this so the seat sits even? I looked under the seat, but can't see any adjusting screw. There is a cable which seems to be connected to the seat belt latch.

There is no asjustment for that. Are you sure the frame isnt bent or broken? Maybe there is something wrong with just the seat coushin.
