How do i get to the alternator? On my 2006
Ford Fusion.

This is the regular procedure for removing the alternator in 2005-2007 Ford Fusion V-6 engine: Remove the A/C compressor. Disconnect the battery. Position the generator protective cover aside, remove the nut and position the generator B+ terminal aside. It makes it more easy if the belt tensioner is removed at this point. Disconnect the generator electrical connector. Remove the 3 bolts and the generator. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
