coolant leak?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

156686 miles on the truck. Just added coolant to the truck not even 30 minutes ago
and took it around the block to check for leaks and it was already saying low coolant.
Did not see any leaking coolant. I made sure it wasn't just the sensor malfunctioning. It
is really low on coolant. Have had this problem for quite some time. took it into a
firestone a few months ago and they saw no leaks either so it was a waste of time
going into there because they told me nothing and did nothing. Not totally sure what to
do next. Any suggestions on what i should do?

when i went to firestone that is the one thing that they did do and they said it came back with no problems. Just don't understand where the coolant is going then. I fill it up to the fill line and with in a few minutes of running, it's right back to being low.

some people have been telling me i should try using Alumaseal. Haven't really heard anything good about the product from everything ive seen online. Any idea if the product actually works or if it will just cause more problems?
