Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the process of getting a 96 F350 out of retirement, I have done all the usual things and the truck runs great, but...I find one device on the intake that appears to have had a hose attached but there is none and I don't find where a hose would got to on the engine. Pic attached. Any one know what should be connected here?
Thanks
Mike Allen

Nothing goes there, it is just another one of henry's little jokes. It helps us determine an apprentice technician's ability to be left alone to diag and repair.
