Finance calculators possible error's

Asked by Brian Oct 22, 2019 at 01:20 AM about the 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT 4WD Extended Cab LB

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

How come the financed calculators CarGurus.com and Cars.com come up with different  monthly payments with all the same input data? It may be only $6-$8 on $250 monthly payment but it could keep someone from wanting to buy a car.

I have no way of knowing. Perhaps the calculators use a different set of assumptions about rates, loan terms etc. Obviously these are just a guide. For a reality check apply for a loan and see what the lender is going to charge you.
