Problem starting my truck

On my 2003 Chevy Blazer I changed the battery
and the starter I have power to everything in my
vehicle I can hear the fuel pump kick on but I am
not getting anything from my starter. Please help

There is a small wire that is connected to the starter solenoid that when you turn the key to the start position, power will run thru the wire to energize the starter solenoid. First start by checking that wire to see if power runs threw it when the key is turned to the start position. The wire could be bad or there would be another problem.
