why are there 2 different type of fuel injectors for a 2003 chevy blazer 2 wd 4.3 l v 6 and can you use both

they have one that is all black and they have one that has 2 wires that run on the outside the fuel line and has a white tube on the front where it plugs in

One type is for a sequential central port injection (SCPI) system. The other type is for a Multi Port Injector system.
