hear the compressor come one and hear some air coming from the trunk. system was working fine when park a while back but now not . where should I start with checking the system to see where my issue is. I know the compressor is under hood and I took tires off and look at the little shock thing on suspension .and hear something in trunk .I have car on lift. Now what should I check

The connecting pipe from the compressor has an updated tube part number # A220 327 00 00. Use the STAR system and test the compressor. Unless you burned out the compressor the updated tube will be your fix. Also try manually giving air to the shocks to make sure they aren't leaking.

where do you get the updated tube for the connecting pipe from the compressor? what is and how do you use the STAR system to test the compressor ?and how do you put air in the shocks? THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP

The part you can get from the Mercedes Dealer. STAR is the Mercedes diagnostic tool, if you don't have the tool no point in explaining how to test the compressor. I believe you can use a AUTOLOGIC scanner to test the compressor also. Follow the lines from the valve that distributes the air from the compressor and add air to see if the car lifts on a particular side.

I have a 2000 s500 Mercedes The left side of my car go up and down loosing air sometimes and a warning light appear on the car telling me to stop driving the front end is too low after a while the suspension system of building back up and I can drive fine what could the problem be
