Prices on 1994 E 500's has plumeted. This is a limited production and arguably exotic machine, so why the degradation. I own one, and it is a pleasure to drive and goes like stink. What gives?

A lot of factors go into used car pricing, and I doubt there's one particular factor that has impacted the price of the '94 E500. Time of year, price of gas, interest rates on used car loans, as well as demand, all factor in. Now might be a good time to get a deal on one if you were looking for a second one. Wish I could answer it with one simple answer, but there really isn't one.
