Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so my 04 trailblazer has 102K and runs drives perfect cranks in the morning fine, when I drive it say to the store turn truck off then come back in crank it up it will crank sputter and die then hard to start but will finally fire up then you can smell the catalytic converter and it only does this once in a blue moon but it is very agrivating. like maybe once a month it will do it. I'm going to change the fuel filter tomorrow and see if that helps but I would like some other opinions on what it could be...

Possible one of two things to check, fuel pressure which should be 56 to 63 lbs, or the Ignition Control Module which could be tested at Auto Zone. You would have to take it out tho.
