what are some of the electrical problems that this particular car has

Dear sandral-- According to the National Highway Traffic Safesty Administration, the few problems reported to them about the 1998 Mercedes C280 involved the battery. Well...I own one and the BIGGEST complaint I have is that the bulbs (usually the back-up or brake light) frequently get burned out.

I am having a problem with the electrical locks, horn, side mirrors, wipers and the trunk not all ways working. They will all work for about 2 or 3 days, then when I get in the car on day 4 they are not working. That night they will work again.

I bought my '98 C 280 used about 2 1/2 years ago. Never had a problem until about 6 months ago. Then started having the same problem you describe....loss of function of windshield wipers, turn signals, windows, etc. Won't work for days at a time then will start working normally for days/weeks. Very frustrating!

i had the eis replace and when i got the car the ac,the auto light sensor ,alarm and the temperature fan don't work on 05 c230 mercedes benz kompressor sport 4 door so what is wrong with the car any one out there
