2007 Honda Pilot VSA and engine light
the VSA and engine light come on, the idle goes up then it acts like it doesn't
want to go over 30 mph. any guesses
When you have any warning light on, like the VSA, the CEL comes on with it. This means that the Vehicle Stability Assistance program has been deactivated. Stability helps control the car during risky incidences where a driver might not have the skills to control the car himself. This also involves the Traction control and ABS systems..... Why is the VSA light on? You might have accidentally bumped the dash button, but this probably wouldn't light up the CEL. Or the car shut off Stability due to a defect somewhere that has to be fixed. Just push the button. If it goes out, everything should be OK. If not, you need to have the system diagnosed for a fault. It might be as simple as a defective wheel sensor. Or it might be because there's a defect in the VSA system itself, or it might even be on because you recently installed the wrong size tires.
I had the vsa and check engine light come on.after replacing the vtec solenoid assembly as suggested.it was still coming on.then changed the accelerator pedal assembly.now hasnt been back on for over a year and half
