my anti theft light and door ajar light stay on. how do i get these to go off?

the car starts and runs. but the two lights stay on. when car is turned off and keys are out
the ding sound from door ajar continues to make the noise and drains the battery unless
the fuse for the stereo is pulled out.

It may be the contact switch in the door post. It should be an easy replacement part.
