04 chevy Malibu sudden power loss with no service lights

Have 04 chevy Malibu recently started
loosing power while sitting in park or
pulling out in traffic and will not go at all
and shut off no lights on and replaced air
filter and still doing it with no service lights  
detecting a problem, any idea?

Could be almost anything. How long since a tune-up? Check tac/throttle actuator control. Clean throttle bore, see if it helps? Don't force the throttle plate. I always check codes even if lamp isn't on. In the past have had inactive code point me in the right direction.
