Transmission fluid

Just changed my transmission fluid, gasket, and filter and
replaced it with 5L of full synthetic fluid in 04 impala and
checked the dip stick and it's not showing anything. Any
help? Do I need to add more?

Is the engine running when you checked the fluid level? How much did you drain out. Oh, I'll bet you didn't think to measure it. Does the dipstick have instructions on it regarding the procedure to check the fluid level. Many of them do.
