2004 cavalier goes off when driving. got new fuel pump. did not help.do you no what it is.

what are u doing when car dies? cruising, stopping , accelerating does it happen when car is hot cold or all he time? does the engine just shut off or does it stumble first ?

I pull off the road. all the time hot and cold. just shut off.

at this point u should take it somewhere to have them drive it extesively to get it to happen

i have. they have put new computer parts in. put another new fuel pump. they do not no.they said maybe now they can trace it.i do not no what to do i have put 15hundred in it.if you can help please try to tell me. thank you.

does it start right back up after it stalls unfortunately i can only give ideas or possiblities im not the one looking at it to see what actually happening

Could possibly be an injector that has some trash in it
