I have a 2004 Chevy Cavalier with Chrome factory rims. How do you remove these rims?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It may seem like a dumb question, but I have the lug nuts off and it will not budge. It looks like there is a bushing holding it on with the nut from inside the center of rim. (inside of center cap of rim) Is that possible? There is no corrosion I can see.

The lug nuts are the only thing holding the wheels on. You might not see the corrosion but it's there. Around each stud, around the center of the wheel and the back of the wheel(where it touches the wheel bearing/hub assembly) are all normal places it will get stuck. Get a large pry bar and from the back of the wheel place it between the wheel and the caliper or lower control arm. pry as hard as you can rotate the wheel and pry some more. keep doing that til it pops off.
