2005 Trailblazer losing oil pressure and over heating

My 05 trailblazer oil pressure Gage is all over the place. the water Gage shoot
really high and the engine sounds like it stuck in  gear. when i turn it off or let it
idle i can hear the water reserve boiling. any ideas on what it wrong it has
over 230,000 miles on it.

You may have a cracked radiator or leaking hoses. A blown head gasket can make the water bubble up in the reservoir too. Mine was a broken radiator cap and crack across the top of the radiator.
