Hi, we have an 03 sequoia doing same thing. Did that take care of the problem?

I just replaced the torque converter clutch solenoid and the problem still exists!

Yes it was torque converter lock up. No one would just replace the torque converter. I ended up having a remanufactured transmission installed.

You have to drop the transmission oil pan. There are 2 shift solenoids and 1 torque converter solenoid on the bottom of the transmission. Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01EOAWHNO ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
