2005 Toyota Tacoma new cluster

Can you recover the mileage on the cluster when
you put a new one in on a 2005 Toyota Tacoma? I
was thinking about buying a truck but the cluster
went out so I'm not real for sure how many miles
was on it. I didn't know if it was kept track of it in
the computer even though the cluster was out

Make sure the Dealer or person your buying it from has this "Repaired" before you buy Its a FEDERAL offense to change / alter an odometer reading unless a certified / authorized tech does it with the proper paperwork! ITS ON THEM not you. Regards The cluster has a eeprom / eprom and the PCM will have a layered mileage record easy to see the original mileage.. with the correct gear.
