Tacoma MPG Dropped

How is the oil consumption? check/replace the plugs if they show Oil, carbon or signs of weak combustion~ set the timing to the most efficient (nearly knockin') spot...never trusted seafoam, perhaps it is just fine, but anything other then the correct lubricants seems incorrect...in my humble opinion~ changed all filters, combustion seems okay...emissions are satisfactory...would have to suggest that you increase the timing till knock~....then back off a scoach~ just one man's opinion~

You may want to run a check of the computer settings (national auto stores can read the codes for you) Also depending on your part of the country you're in, the new blend of gas with ethanol as mandated by the Federal Government and/or your State may have an effect. Have you changed your usual driving routes? (ie new route to work, more highway than before? more surface street? ) started to keep up with the traffic instead of driving by your speedometer? Heck, I don't know, but just throwing out some variables incase something clicks. Good Luck with this.
