Can I Carry 40 bags of 40lb sand several hundred miles over Interstate 8?

1,600 pounds. I don't see an issue but pack them in towards the front of the bed and over the rear axle and air up your tires. Keep your speed down. Why not get the sand bags at the End of your journey rather than hauling them all the way?

Bags were purchased here, as prepackaged 40lb disaster bags, weren't available in San Felipe, BC.
