I have a 2005 Suburban Z71 4 x 4. It recently started making a noise like an electrical hum or solenoid. The noise seems to come from under the car, in the area of the rear passenger seats. The noise can be heard for 1 or 2 seconds with the ignition on and the key ready to turn to "start". Goes away after that first 1 - 2 seconds, then comes back when engine starts. Any idea at all what this might be?

It's the fuel pump. U probably have very little amount of fuel in it that's why it's louder

Once the fuel pump builds up pressure it shuts off. When the truck is running it uses fuel and the pump turns back on.
