Replacement Fuel Tank for a 96 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 regular cab

I have a 96 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 regular cab with the 3.4 litre engine.  I need a replacement tank due to rust.  The truck only has 42,000 miles but was driven only 5,000 miles in the last 15 years and has set for over a year.  The only tank I can find is a new replacement from Toyota at $600.  Any suggestions?

987_ABC , If you live in Colorado I'll be parting out a 1996 Tacoma that was totaled in Oct. I'm trying right now to remove approx. 12 gals.gas and may have to remove tank to get to it.
