AC and heat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ac and heat blows for a little while then
stops for a little while then starts blowing  
again. Off and on. I think it gets a beaker
hot it goes off when it cools  I can turn it
back on.

you could check for a loose connection or corrosion on contacts ( power and ground), which could cause arching and over heat the breaker, but not enough to cause it to trip.
