Can Replacing Toyota T100 injector Coils enhance performance

Asked by AndrewCastle Jan 27, 2017 at 04:53 PM about the 1996 Toyota T100 2 Dr SR5 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 96 T100 with 240,000 miles and am looking for some maintenance
tips and simple upgrades to keep this awesome car rolling.
I have been advised by some car wrenching friends that New Injector Coils
can restore some of the power to this high mile motor. I've not found any
references to this practice online and am hoping to hear from a few more
experts.
       Appreciate your advice and Feedback

I believe the ignition coils voltage declines over time so new coils might help somewhat at least that is what companies that sell new coils claim.
