i want to buy a 1990 supra turbo but the seller has half the engine sitting on the seat and he says it all runs but it won't move and it needs just a new bearing is this possible

this car is a nice one i want it but the turbo and stuff is sitting on the seat in a box and i was wondering if just a bearing could be the problem he is offering 3,000 dollars for this car its in great condition.
