Locked keys in car on seat

Nice. Wedge window or door open at top and use a coat hanger bent to catch then and fish them out.

Some police department used to slim jim open for free otherwise a locksmith or tow man may can open it up, If a window is down some may can use the long coat hangers unbent to reach in to the keys, Like said above it happens all the time and locksmith's charge a lot.

Just so nobody actually listens to the other dude, no cop will do that for free because they're legally not allowed! You simply wedge the door slightly and use your antenna off of your car to push the unlock button or even easier, push the window button down... Don't worry about stretching the frame, it takes enough for your entire arm or leg to got through it to do that!

Police can and will come out to help you if locked out of a car, can't hurt to call them and ask. If they can't help you they might direct you to someone who can, like their service department or a tow company they often work with.
