It idles at 120rpm and when put into drive it jumps to 6000 rpm please help me

The car once started will idle at 1200 RPM then
when I put it into drive and will jump up to 6,000
RPM and try anddrive away I have changed the
TPS sensor and still no luck can someone please
help me

scan the computer for codes, check all linkages on the throttle body to see nothing is stuck open, or sticky cable. if the car is "fly by wire" then it wouldn't have a cable, but could be having problems with a gas pedal position sensor. if this is the case, there should be a computer code stored or a check engine light.
